Mobbing is a synonym for psychological violence. Although it is everywhere present, it is still considered as a "Tabu" topic. In the last years, the number of investigations in this field has considerably increased. Has been originally the vast majority of the research focused on mobbing at work, is now the situation acutely changed. The attention is now increasingly focused at variety of fields: on mobbing in schools or in various institutions, such as in sport clubs. In the following investigation mobbing will be first theoretically presented. At first will be discussed what mobbing, as a term, means, what forms of mobbing are comprehensible and how they proceed. In addition, the causes of development of mobbing are described. Performed are also the roles of people who are involved in a mobbing process, the viewers, as well as the consequences that may arise from a mobbing process. Finally, the preventive measures will be intruduced, so that the risk of a mobbing process are as small as possible. In conclusion, measures against mobbing are presented and enriched with concrete examples from practice. In the second part of the study, it will be closely discussed about the empirical study. The aim of this study is to analyze mobbing processes in football clubs for children. For this purpose, two methods are considered to be adequate: a questionnaire survey for children and semi-structured interviews for the coaches. The results indicate that neglection or mobbing processes can be detected in children football.
