The disease burnout has become a phenomenon and the number of burnout patients continues to rise. Burnout can happen to everyone. The causes and symptoms are wide-ranging and therefore also the definitions. The following work deals with the disease burnout and the associated rhythm shift in the life of the affected persons. This shift of the rhythm can happen early as in the initial phase of the disease. Burnout patients suffer from changes, which affect the experience of time. The sufferers have problems to be with their mental state in the presence and often they are mentally increasingly in the future or in the past. However, the rhythm shift also affects other areas of life, such as the biological rhythm, the rhythm of work, but also the social rhythm. Building on these shifts, which are described hermeneutic in the first part of the work, the practical part illustrates motion exercises, which allow sufferers in the follow-up treatment to strengthen their individual rhythm. To strengthen the rhythm breathing exercises, exercises with focus on the trunk, exercises in which the contraction and relaxation of muscles is important, fitness exercises, which are synchronized with breathing and boxing exercises to reduce aggression, are described. The exercise catalogue includes only exercises, which can be performed independently and serves as a stimulus and support to strengthen the individual rhythm after a stay in a rehabilitation clinic.
