In the first chapter of this diploma thesis the term of a mathematical idea is defined. The mathematical ideas are classified in Fundamental Ideas, Global Ideas and Local Ideas. The main focus is on Global Ideas, which are the most important for this thesis. Moreover, examples for each group of mathematical ideas are mentioned and briefly described. Furthermore, the process of identification of Global Ideas is explained.After defining the ruling terms in the first chapter, in the second chapter follows the identification of four Global Ideas, which are important in the sector of functional dependencies and analysis. For each of the four Global Ideas is explained in detail, why the concept complies with the criteria of the characterization of Global Ideas. Moreover, two concepts that are similar to the four Global Ideas are described, but in fact they are, as the thesis will confirm, no Global Ideas.The third and last chapter of this diploma thesis contains the didactic implementation of the concept of Global Ideas in school education of analysis. Therefore at first there is described the role of analysis in school education, whereat the focus is on upper school. In addition, the role of mathematical ideas in confirming the sense of mathematics and the relevance of mathematical ideas to acquire comprehension are explained. Furthermore, there are delivered plans for teaching analysis in upper school for all of the four Global Ideas, based on the respective Global Idea, in order to demonstrate the practical implementation of the concept of Global Ideas in school education.Finally, the most important perceptions of the thesis are summarized in a short résumé.
