Rapid modernizations of society, economic and social changes and acceleration of development transformations cause a movement towards a consulting company. Organizations like educational institutions also have to cope with those unexpected challenges and requirements. Due to this change not only individuals use consulting, but also organizations are exposed to those consulting trends organizational consulting can already be considered as a separate action and business. Evaluation can also be seen as a private field of action and furthermore as a widely used tool for reviewing and evaluating processes or projects. Organizational consulting is also a process, so this masters thesis is dedicated to the topic of evaluation of organizational consulting processes with a focus on educational institutions. The relation between evaluation and organizational consulting processes should be identified, moreover the question should be answered, whether education institutions take organizational consulting processes, and whether those processes also get evaluated. The thesis consists of four parts. The first part, composed by Carina Mogg, deals with the topic of organizational consulting. In the second part, written by Tamara Zinggl, the topic of evaluation is discussed. The outcome of this is the third part, which connects the preceding parts. Fourth and last part of this masters thesis is empiricism, realized by interviewing professionals.
