In this master thesis „third learning center“ as an option for learners in home care education is presented. The theoretical background oft he „third learning center“ with ist aims and functions, the use of actors for learning purposes, and the acquisition of skills for home care is eludicated. The subject is further developed with the process of implementing the acqired educational elements right up to he presentation and realization oft he project known as „HKP Lotte“ which has been developed by „NÖ-Hilfswerk“ organization. The qualitative research which is included in the last part concerns the interviews with some oft he participants in the project. They were asked about the advantages and disadvantages of that way of learning and the use in case management.
