Today conspicuous behavior in the infancy is a lot of discussed subject of childcare facilities and among experts. The discussions about a general definition, causes and forms of conspicuous behavior are multisided.Three different concepts of conspicuous behavior, (1) the personal model of a behavior disorder, (2) the concept of a conspicuous behavior and (3) the model of a deviant behavior, should be introduced to determine a uniform definition of conspicuous behavior. In the specialized literature and among experts conspicuous behavior is defined as a deviant behavior. Concerning this, macro- and micro-sociological theories of deviant behaviors are discussed. Explanations of the multisided causes of and different reasons for conspicuous behavior, as well as the manifold forms, should indicate the complexity of this topic. For a better understanding the causes are subdivided in macro- and micro-sociological explanation-determinants and the forms are organized in externalized and internalized conspicuities. In most cases a deviant behavior depends on several reasons and expresses itself different.The empiric part applies to the carried out quantitative and qualitative study about children with conspicuous behavior in hoard groups. The data were ascertained in the hoards of the city of Graz. On the one hand a social-scientific explanation of conspicuous behavior in the Grazer hoards is showed. On the other hand specific problems of hoard groups with children, who have a conspicuous behavior, are pointed out. Furthermore pedagogical strategies and perceptions of the topic ?conspicuous behavior? were raised. The cooperation of children, parents, hoard pedagogues and other experts is necessary to be able to influence the deviant behavior of the children positively.
