Squat, bench press and deadlift are not only the disciplines of powerlifting, but also popular and effective barbell exercises that are already used in most sports in basic strength training. All three exercises are very complex in their technique and hold in case of wrong execution enormous injury potential. Therefore, the goals of the present work are to describe the correct technique of these training exercises as well as possible error pictures as well as corrections.In the first part of the thesis, the basics of barbell training are discussed. These include topics such as barbell training with children, the aspect of safety and the right attitude in the training of powerlifting disciplines.In the further course, detail will be given on squats, backs and deadlifts - especially on the technical design. Following the respective chapters, various fault patterns of the individual training exercises are analyzed. The centerpiece of this work is the combination of the defect images with corresponding correction exercises, which are in the last part of the work. To facilitate the use in everyday training, all techniques, exercises and correction exercises are supplemented by photo series.
