Over the past few years, school gymnastics has become more and more marginalized. Too demanding, too boring and too time consuming. These are just a few reasons why this sport has increasingly lost its appeal from the student?s point of view. This thesis has been divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the work deals with the reasons why Artistic Gymnastics has lost popularity and with the sport in general. It discusses the historical development, the performance-specific factors, the various movement skills and the Turn10® model. In the practical part of the work, eight two-hour sessions for beginners and intermediates were planned, which can be used for a course system. During the creation of the lessons, the attention was deliberately paid to the points, which are processed in the theoretical part. The selected exercises are up to the mark of the Austrian Turn10® model. The thesis aimed to make this kind of sport attractive again, and to encourage students to practice gymnastics.
