A techno culture, being a part of a musicalized and digitalized everyday culture, instrumentalizes and formalizes the hearing itself in many aspects. A technoid everyday culture exceeds the simple experience of hearing. This exposition tries to explain those hearing ?instruments? from a basic physical, a (perceptual) psychological and in succession an aesthetic point of view. The theoretical handling of a techno culture is an attempt to continue studies about a musicalized digital everyday culture. In the conclusion the ?instruments of hearing? are being related to a techno culture. The musical event Techno, being a postmodern art form implicates certain aesthetic ?innovations? like auditory and visual instrumentalization and the layering of so called high intensities. |
