The master thesis in hand deals with drugs and addictions. The main point of this work is the acceptance-oriented drug work. Basically injecting rooms, which implementation in Austria are currently highly controversial, because of the special consideration of experiences of already existing facilities in Europe, form the quintessence. On the one hand injecting rooms are considered as a reasonable supplement of the existing addiction aid system, which are important for the survival assistance. On the other hand there are also negative aspects namely that such facilities are ominous, because the drug use is tolerated, the sense of right and wrong is diminished and therefore narcotrafficking is, in a way, legalized. The work in hand points out the advantages and disadvantages of injecting rooms. This work refers to the research question: ?Which arguments are in favour and which are against the establishment of injecting rooms in Austria?? For the development of this question experts-interviews were made for an empirical approach. The whole work is divided into three segments: Theoretical fundamentals, accepted drug work and empirical part. In the first segment the theoretical fundamentals are described. The second segment is about the deepening with the accepted drug work. This segment consists of three parts, which are the fundamentals, the measures and offers, as well as the European practical applications accepted drug work. The empirical part is the third segment. Besides the research bases and the research design, the representation and discussion of the results take place. In the course of the discussion of the results, a linking of theory and of the results takes place. |
