Description, Evaluation, and Analysis of the Development and Implementation of the Integrative Educational Project Megaphon-Uni, Following a Discussion on its Social-Ethical Challenges has investigated which educational paradigms determine the present national and European discourse and which conclusions on social developments can be drawn from these. At the core of the research work is an analysis of the positive and negative consequences of the dominant educational perception on underprivileged groups with no academic background and on people with fragmentary educational biographies. Where are the integrative chances and how does social segregation happen? These questions were investigated on the basis of the integrative educational project Megaphon-Uni as part of a cooperation between Caritas Steiermark and Zentrum für Weiterbildung, Karl-Franzens-Universität, offering lectures through social services in Graz. This research work aims at clarifying which social developments the educational project Megaphon-Uni responds to, which social tasks educational offers like this one fulfill, whether and how these educational offers can reach underprivileged groups of people and how Megaphon-Uni should be changed to the better to become a comprehensive integrative series of educational measures for people in difficult social situations in life.
