The first part of my diploma thesis deals with the impact of sport on the personality of adolescents. In this first long section of my thesis I tried to analyze via a literature review if there are any scientifically sourced results on this specific field and to what extend sport has an effect on personality. Hence, it became apparent that sport is a very discrete term, which is theoretically complicated to comprehend and to describe. Sport consists of a number of actions and is due to its flexible definition and many subtopics highly complex. I see in sport a lot more than an arrangement of actively experiencing and consciously dealing with one?s own body. I define ?sports? by means of my feelings and thoughts, which arise before, during and after physical exercises. However, from my point of view, I consider the active and conscious confrontation with my own body during physical exercises as the most intensive one. The second part of my diploma thesis focuses on school and physical education in school. Here, I am trying to establish a connection between the first and the second part of my thesis and furthermore, to make a practical reference to physical education in school. Therefore, e.g., I have assigned much time to team sport in my semester scheduling, to force the positive aspects of group dynamics and team building into the direction of social competences and team skills of the juveniles. By means of the provided semester schedule and the project description it is possible to apply this diploma thesis for planning class lessons.
