The focus of this work is the review of the sustainability of the program ?Betriebliches Arbeitstraining? of alpha nova and its optimization. The program is a measure of occupational integration of people with disabilities, which works on the concept of Supported Employment. I created questionnaires for participants of the program and their parents. Overall, since the beginning of the measure 154 people with disablities were coached. Of these people 42 were interviewed. In addition, 20 current participants were interviewed by questionnaire. The questionnaires for the parents were sent by post and 43 returned. The staff of this program as well as the staff of cooperating agencies was interviewed. The European Union of Supported Employment provides certain quality standards for quality management. During the investigation it was shown that these quality standards are almost fully satisfied. However there is room for improvement. For instance there should be special information about the measure for people with learning disabilities. Also, regular meetings with the staff of cooperating agencies, a follow-up care for placed people, and more clarification for companies about dismissals protection of people with disabilities are more ideas for improvement. If you look at all participants of the measure, it shows a placement rate up to 36.4%. The placement rate increases to 52.4%, if you only include the interviewed participants. With regard to the sustainability of the measure there also are good results. The employments of people who are still active exist on average since 32 months. The people, who were unemployed at the time of the interview, also had employments on the first labour market on average for 30 months before unemployment. Thus one can speak of long-term placements. Moreover, it was demonstrated that neither the age, sex or duration of the action influence a placement on the first labour market. More important seems to be the will of people to get a job.
