The constitutional development since 1945 is sketched by the translation from English. The historical pre-reguisits are pointed out to get a better un-derstanding of the changes.Also mentioned are: the influence of foreign states as China, France, Japan, the Soviet Union and the United States of America conflicts among these three countries and their international civil warlike disputes. These latter con-flicts, especially in Cambodia, whose population suffered great casualties, was under the Khmer Rouge regime.Form of the state, statal organizations, rights and duties of the citizens and more or less democratic institutions in general are also examined, as well as the administration and jurisdiction.The Geneva Agreements, July 20 1954, and the Pacts of Paris, January 27 1973, which deal with the truce and the restitution of peace in Indochina are also covered.Constitutional changes are included up to 2003. A summary of the constitu-tions of each single state and one summary of the constitutions of all three states are also included in this paper. Special attention is given to the ?hard-core? in the constitutions of the three respective states.The future will show if the changes of the constitutions will be beneficial for the population.The texts of the constitutions including respective literature served as a ba-sis, oral data on location were also taken in March 2006.
