The present thesis focuses on the joy of adolescent in physical education. It considers various factors that can influence this joy and researches the effect. The theoretical part contains the description of the essential terms, such as sport-psychology, school sport and adolescence. In the main part, each parameter, namely sport-teacher, content, class, body and pre-experiences outside of the physical education classroom are analyzed in details. For this purpose, qualitative interviews with six people have been conducted. The results indicate that every parameter could be adjuvant as well as inhibiting. The deciding point, however, is how teenagers individually experience and rate the influencing factors. The relation to the own body could be for example a reason, that female students refuse physical education. However, if all in all dominate the positive factors, the school sport presents an enriching field of experiences in the life of an adolescent.
