This master thesis examines how a healthcare provider company can position itself as an attractive employer in order to attract and retain the right professionals.Healthcare organizations are exposed to many factors which are changing the healthcare field permanently. These challenges are described. Overcoming these problems requires a highly motivated, powerful leadership and management team which must embrace change as well as be able to motivate their staff members to accept and implement change. The two factors with the highest impact on employer attractiveness throughout all generations are corporate culture and leadership. They are, therefore, presented and compared in detail.Corporate culture, in general, is explained on the one hand and on the other hand, the organizational culture which is characteristic of a hospital, an organization full of experts, is discussed in particular. Furthermore, the challenges of leadership are defined, as especially in times of organizational change, leadership becomes a focal point. Similarly, the generation conflict and the potential management approaches and guidelines are considered. Using these guidelines, Employer Branding is contemplated as an organization development task. The use of a holistic and sustainable strategy to deal with the stated challenges is described and considered. Finally, the potential use of Employer Branding as an element of human resource acquisition and management in the healthcare industry is illustrated.
