The Master's thesis, entitled "Values in a pluralistic society do we loose our values?", deals with the issue of changing values ??and deals intensively with the question whether a change in values ??takes place and if so, whether it has to be regarded as negative. The work is purely a literary work.In a pluralistic society a variety of opinions, assumptions and ideas, which not least require a change of values, exists. A conceptual explanation and a critical examination of the pluralistic society and its characteristics, represents the introduction of the work and forms the best possible foundation for the discussion of the diversified topics of "values ??and change".The further part of the work deals with the origin and the importance of social values ??and names possible causes for the change in values. Also the perspectives from which one we can view the change of values get reviewed. Here, the value of the family is placed at the center and viewed under different perspectives. Further, the change of values ??is not considered as a purely negative phenomenon, but rather as a challenge and an opportunity for us humans. Values ??are very important for us and our life together. For this reason, a personal code of values ??is presented, which is to stimulate reflection on everyones own values. Finally, a conclusion is drawn, which summarizes the most important facts again.
